I Am-Ness Danspiritual Workshop sessions use shamanic dance, affirmations, guided meditations, inquiry work, visualizations, inner child work, connection to the natural world and oracle guidance cards. The ultimate goal of these sessions is training you to live from the energy of the loving and lovable being you are. You can follow one or all of them. It is up to you!

What is Danspiritual?
It is an embodied meditation practice devised by Risa Luna Vega-Boschiazzo. It explores the possibilities of instinctual movement and dance as a means of expression and consciousness expansion. Fundamental to the practice is the individual’s experience in the present moment and the cultivation of a nonjudgmental attitude. In this workshop, I combine my experience as an Inner Child coach and a Danspiritual facilitator using the methods I use in guiding my clients to connect with their younger parts to release toxic programming. In this particular workshop, I have added movement, music and dance to make the experience more vivid and enjoyable.

WHY INNER CHILD WORK IS SO EFFECTIVE
The unconscious cannot differentiate between what we visualize or imagine in a relaxed and open mind state from what truly happens. When at the workshop our inner child—who had been feeling lonely or unsafe, for example, meets the adult self who is willing to embrace her lovingly and take care of her—this painful state subsides. And in time, if you are consistent in using the tools you have learned in the workshop and keep the contact with your younger self, you will witness an inner transformation.

Space is great, the grass is even, and there is hardly anybody there; no trees that will keep us from enjoying the winter sun. It is handy to bring some gloves for until you move long enough to take them off. And though chilly in the beginning, the coldness makes you feel extra alive, excited and strong. Last week I danced with 5 degrees and I felt so energized and happy. Would you like to be kinder to yourself and enjoy a calm and peaceful state of mind most of the time? Would you like to transform your inner dialogue into one that nourishes your sense of worthiness? Do you want to wake up every morning with a sense of meaning because you are using your talents and following your call? I am here to offer you a workshop that can truly help you to start making that shift.

In this workshop, I combine my experience as an Inner Child coach and a Danspiritual facilitator using the method I use in guiding my clients to connect with their younger parts to release toxic programming. In this particular workshop, I have added movement, music and dance to make the experience more vivid and enjoyable.

After one hour of gathering notes for announcing this workshop, I decided to ask my inner child what was it that she most appreciates from being in touch with each other. *She replied without hesitation:

The most beautiful thing of having you is that I am not any more afraid to make mistakes.

*The way I communicate with my inner child is within meditation or journaling alternating the use of the dominant hand for the adult self and non-dominant for the young self.

Shamanistic Danspiritual Picnic in Westerpark

Saturday 13th October at 11am.

You have heard that on Saturday we will have 26°C. You have no plans yet but know that dancing is something that you'd like to do more; that you spend far too many hours inside; that hanging with like-minded people is what fuels your spirit. So what about doing something different this Saturday?
 

Where? Westerpark BBQ area. (See map below)
What time? We start the session at 11 am. and dance for an hour.
What I'll be doing? You are up on a journey through the whole spectrum of the Four Natural Elements’s while free-style dancing and then: Picnic!
What I am supposed to bring? Water, a picnic cloth, vegetarian or vegan food and drinks to share, your friends, your favorite aunt, kids, musical instruments and pets.
How much it costs? €10. You bring someone, you pay for one.

Shamanistic Danspiritual in Westerpark

every Saturday Morning

Every time I dance outdoors, I am more convinced that I'll be keeping this practice going the whole year. Today, like every Wednesday, I had my personal practice in the park and honestly, I needed to kick my ass to get out of the house this morning because once it becomes less warm, it's so easy to stay. I am happy I didn't because this morning my connection was extra deep. The grass was so long and green. The temperature perfect. There was literally no one! It was so sensual to caress the grass with my feet or was I the one who was caressed? I felt so profoundly grateful that I was moved to tears for being alive, for having a body, for being able to breathe. I don't say that this happens every time I dance but I certainly know that dancing in connection with the elements "does" something to me. This something is GOOD and it lasts. My day goes smoothly and it feels I can handle anything. Being in the body is an act of self-care and experiencing it outdoors, is empowering and adds a feeling of wonderment to it. So people, come and enjoy this mini-soul holiday I am offering you every Saturday. You just need to put your alarm on Friday and grab your bike, I do the rest :) And before moving to the practicalities I want to tell you that my coaching practice is open. I am especially good at guiding clients in how to heal the wounds of the past and stopping toxic programming.
